Set out on an expedition to discover the amazing flora and fauna that can be found in your own backyard! Team up in inquiry-based activities to explore all things Georgia, from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. Learn about the state that Georgia Aquarium calls home with crafts, games, animals, hands-on activities, and meet and greets with animal experts.  By the end of the week, campers will have investigated a variety of Georgia ecosystems and gained the necessary knowledge to be an effective Backyard Buddy!

Do you have what it takes to become a Scientist of the Sea? Join us as we embark on an adventure that will put you in the shoes of a marine biologist. This week will inspire and educate campers about marine science through hands-on experiments and exploration. Campers will explore shark anatomy, complete a dissection, and interact with some of Georgia Aquarium’s experts. From exploring sensational sharks to colorful coral, come along as we take a deeper dive into the life of a Scientist of the Sea!
