Georgia Aquarium STEAM Professional Development provides teachers with an insight into how Environmental Educators create lessons centered around the environment and other biological factors. All our curriculum is centered on Georgia Standards of Excellence and Next Generation Science Standards.

The International SeaKeepers Society and Georgia Aquarium invite middle and high school educators in Georgia to apply for a two-day, three-night professional development opportunity in Miami, Florida. Through hands-on field experiences and research, teachers will use Biscayne Bay as a case study to explore anthropogenic impacts on different ecosystems found along coastal communities. Teachers will receive a Certificate of Completion for this professional development activity.
This workshop gives teachers hands on experience to create better stewards and advocates for the waterways in their communities as well as pass on their passion from the experience directly to their students.
